Getting a rise out of the Metcash Expo

Christine RichterEvents

In July, we exhibited at the Metcash Expo on the Gold Coast, QLD. This year Lane focused solely on the bakery department. Using the Expo as another opportunity to showcase our designs, product range and bakery solutions that are yielding great result in supermarkets Australia-wide.

Metcash Expo - Goodman Fielder - All in one bakery display stand

Goodman Fielder won Best Stand and featured Lane’s All-In-One Bakery as its centre-piece. The modular system gives retailers unparalleled flexibility and customisability in building a bakery solution to fit their specific needs. Lane has been working closely with Goodman Fielder to deliver the perfect solution to display their proprietary bread and importantly to enable stores to bake artisan goods in-store using their par-bake products.

The All-In-One Bakery was featured again in the ‘Fresh Area’ at the Expo, with three setups: a 6-bay unit, 4-bay unit and 3-bay unit. Showcasing the versatility of the system and endless combinations and configurations, limited only by the size of the space available. For more information, have a look at the All-In-One page.

Proprietary bread racks are a primary part of the All-In-One but Lane also had a number of freestanding, mobile bread racks on show. We also showcased the Avanti Bakery Island, a unit which has become an extremely popular part of the supermarket bakery fitout, providing an island to merchandise artisan products, breads as well as cross merchandise. The units are fully customisable in terms of length, finish, branding and more.
